Learning something new takes courage, and that bravery deserves to be rewarded. So I make fun, empathetic products that support that choice and all the ones after. I want learning to feel like a teacher just wheeled in a TV cart or said, “Let’s take this class outside.” Because technology’s role in education is to even the playing field, and mine is to make it feel like play.

THINGS
I
am
I got my start as a book editor at Scholastic, where I learned I liked helping people explore something new about themselves or the world around them. That discovery became the throughline of my career—as an author, a founder of a speechwriting company, and an ed-tech builder.
I love making cool things with smart people, the beginnings of things, creatively solving “unsolvable” problems, and constraints. I think humility breeds innovation and non-linear backgrounds make the most well-rounded leaders.
Find me in Fort Greene Park and talk to me about the magic of marathon day, a cute thing your kid did, something you’re weirdly passionate about, or a new recipe you’re making for dinner.
